2 months ago, I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. Two weeks ago, I had an 8-hour surgery to try to remove the cancer. Unfortunately, it could not all be removed. My significant other of 9 years stayed at Mayo with me for 8 days, then took me home. The next day, he left. For good. This song kind of says it all.
